us at newhouserv@sbcglobal.net
Q. Do you sell to the public?
A. Yes we do.
Q. Why are prices not provided on your web site?
A. Increasing energy and material costs are impossible to
predict. In an effort to give you the best value, prices are quoted on a daily
basis.
Q. If I buy a complete bed, bunk bed, or dinette, will I get
everything I need to install it?
A. Yes.
Q. Do you accept credit cards?
A. We do not accept credit cards. Although we do accept orders directly from consumers, all consumer purchases must be prepaid with a check made out to Newhouse RV Upholstery. Your order will be processed once your check clears.
Q. How long does it take to get my beds?
A. We are able to ship in 5-10 business days after your check clears. Legs and brackets will
ship sooner.
Q. Can I save the shipping charges and make a will call?
A. Yes. You would save the $20 for a box on
larger items, too.
Q. Will I save money buying from you?
A. Yes, but you will not be buying at the level our
wholesale customers pay.
Q. Can I buy just parts?
A. Yes, in limited quantities. If you
need parts to replace those that have become damaged, we make available legs,
brackets, hinges, frames, cushion covers, foam, etc.
Q. Can you match my existing fabric?
A. In some cases yes. After new fabrics are
introduced with each new model year, we keep what is left from previous years
until we run out - in some cases, this can be 2-3 years. To see the most popular
fabrics currently in stock CLICK HERE. We also
offer black vinyl that is not shown on the site. We have many other
fabrics in the warehouse and cannot picture all of them on the site. If
you don't see your fabric at the page above and your unit is fairly new (2-3
years), we may be able to match it. The best way for us to see if we can match
or come close is to send a digital photograph of the unit we manufactured.
Q. How far away from the wall are your units when in
stowed position?
a. The distance from the wall to
the out side of the unit in stowed position is right at 6" - the legs
add about another 1.5"
Q. How much room do your
products require when in bed position?
A. The dinette takes 47” from the wall in bed
position. The 72" and 76” wall-mount sofa beds and 76" bunk
beds are 43” from the wall in bed position.
Q. How much does shipping
cost?
A. Naturally, shipping varies by distance,
dimensions, and weight. Newhouse can arrange shipping for you if you do
not wish to do it on your own and will quote you based on the above factors.
If you wish to save some money and arrange it yourself, we recommend FreightQuote.com - you can get a quote over the Internet or their 800 number - 800.323.5441
Here is information you will need:

Q. How do I clean my cushions?
A. DO NOT dry clean OR machine
wash the covers. Each method will damage different components of the
cover. Dry cleaning will damage the vinyl backing and machine washing will
damage the fabric. We recommend that you remove the covers from the foam and
hand wash in a gentle agent such as Woolite then hang to dry. DO NOT dry in a
dryer.
Q. Would I be able to order an extra bedspread?
A. Sorry, we do not make the
bedspreads or head boards. You would have to call the parts department of the
manufacturer of your RV to get another one.
